Peter Chaloner

Branch President	Peter Chaloner is the NSW Postal & Telecommunications Branch President.Peter resigned from his position as Branch Organiser in mid-2010 in order to take up the honorary Branch President position. However, Peter remains employed as a full-time industrial officer with the Union in an organising capacity while also undertaking his duties as Branch President. Peter is responsible for representing and servicing members employed in the following postal industry workgroups: Australia Post delivery centres in Sydney’s West Australia Post delivery centres in Sydney’s North with Aaron Stockdale Australia Post delivery centres in Sydney’s East with Aaron Stockdale Australia Post and other private sector postal operators in NSW’s Illawarra regionand Australia Post and other private sector postal operators on NSW’s South Coast Australia Post and other private sector postal operators in NSW’s Greater West region Postal contractors throughout NSW Before taking up a full time role with the Union he was employed as a postal delivery officer and delivery manager with Australia Post. During his employment with Australia Post, Peter played an active role with the Union as a workplace delegate and sub-branch representative. Peter specialises in driving the Union’s organising initiatives in and holds policy responsibility for the delivery occupational group of Australia Post along with Branch Organiser, Aaron Stockdale. He also represents the CEPU on the Australia Post state OH&S committee.
