T.K Ly first joined the Union as an employed Industrial Officer in an organising capacity in 1994.

He was elected as a branch organiser in 1999.  Prior to taking up a full-time role with the Union, TK was employed as a mail officer at Australia Post’s then Redfern Mail Centre.

During his employment with Australia Post, TK played a significant role with the Union as an active workplace delegate and Union liaison officer.

TK drives the organising initiatives and holds policy responsibility within the Union for Parcel delivery contractors, Messenger Post employees and contractors, Post Logistics, Decipha, EDI and other smaller private sector postal industry employers and Australia Post subsidiaries.

Along with Branch Organiser Gil Enzon, he also drives organising initiatives and holds policy responsibility for mail and parcel processing occupational groups within Australia Post.

TK is responsible for assisting members employed in the following postal industry workgroups:

• Australia Post’s Sydney Parcel Facility
• Australia Post retail outlets in Sydney’s North
• Australia Post delivery centres in Sydney’s North
• Australia Post mail sorting operations in the Sydney metropolitan area (with Gil Enzon)
• Australia Post couriers
• Messenger Post
• Parcel delivery contractors
• Post Logistics Australiasia
• Decipha
• EDI
• Other smaller postal industry employers and Australia Post subsidiaries
